Kettering - fishing equipment stolen

A large amount of fishing equipment was stolen during a burglary in Crown Street, Kettering, overnight on Friday 1 June into Saturday 2 June.

Sometime between 10pm on the Friday and 7am on the Saturday, an offender broke into a number of secured outbuildings at the rear of a property in Crown Street.

During the burglary a large amount of valuable fishing equipment was stolen, including Shimano Fishing reels, a selection of fishing rods as well as other assorted fishing equipment totally several thousand pounds.

Also taken was a Gitane Urban silver and oragne bike with a distinctive oversized gel sadle.

No one was seen in the area at the time of burglary and officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area.
