Appeal for potential witness to contact police

Police in Daventry are appealing for a motorist, whose car was kicked during an incident at a petrol station on Monday 10 July, to contact them.
A disturbance took place at the forecourt of the petrol station in London Road, at about 6.45pm, and it is believed a black Audi estate which was parked in the forecourt was kicked before the motorist left.
It is believed the motorist may have witnessed the disturbance as well as sustaining damage to their car.
Two teenage boys, aged 17 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of assault in connection with the disturbance, which took place on Monday, 10 July. Both have been released from custody pending further investigation.
Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have any information regarding it.
