Pedestrian seriously injured in collision in Northampton Road, Wellingborough

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was seriously injured in a collision in Northampton Road, Wellingborough, yesterday evening (Tuesday, December 5).
The collision happened at about 6.10pm just past the Stanwell Way junction. A white Dacia Sandero, driven by a 54-year-old woman from Wellingborough, was travelling along Northampton Road towards the junction with Queensway and Kingsway when it was in collision with a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, an 82-year-old man from Wellingborough, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
