Vehicle failed to stop following collision with pedestrian – appeal for witnesses

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a vehicle failed to stop following a collision with a pedestrian in Rushden on Monday evening (4 December).

At about 10.30pm, the victim, a man in his 40’s, was hit by a vehicle in Northampton Road and carried about 50ft on the bonnet. He was taken to hospital with chest and facial injuries.

The driver of the vehicle failed to stop and officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or have any information about the vehicle involved, to contact police.
