Boy charged with murder remanded in custody - updated

A 16-year-old boy has been remanded in custody after appearing before magistrates charged with the murder of Louis-Ryan Menezes.
The boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Northampton Magistrates' Court this morning (Friday, June 1). He is next due to appear at Leicester Crown Court on Monday, June 4.
Louis-Ryan, 17, from Rothwell, died last Friday evening (May 25) following an incident in Drayton Walk, in the St David’s area of Kingsthorpe.
