This is an excellent opportunity to move forward in your career. You will take on a leading responsibility for maintaining law and order in Northamptonshire. With scope to innovate and implement your own vision for policing, this will be your most rewarding role to date.

As Chief Inspector, you will manage large teams of inspectors, sergeants, constables and police staff. You will also set the plan for major and critical incidents. Risk management will be an integral aspect of your role. You will be instrumental to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of officers, staff and the public. Motivating diverse teams to achieve the highest standards of performance and professionalism, you will balance competing demands to ensure the Force can always use resources in the best way.

An experienced inspector, you have a track record of demonstrating intelligent, creative and informed approaches to policing. As an inclusive, enabling and visionary leader, you are consistently collaborative and supportive. The ability to forge strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders will be key to your success.
