Chief Inspector on Promotion (Transferees)

As Chief Inspector, you will manage large teams of inspectors, sergeants, constables and police staff. We will look to you to plan, manage and monitor complex, operational policing deployment and activity including the response to problems, incidents and crime. You will also set the plan for major and critical incidents. Risk management will be an integral aspect of your role. You will be instrumental to ensuring the safety and wellbeing of officers, staff and the public. Motivating diverse teams to achieve the highest standards of performance and professionalism, you will balance competing demands to ensure the Force can always use resources in the best way.
An experienced inspector, you have a track record of demonstrating intelligent, creative and informed approaches to policing. As an inclusive, enabling and visionary leader, you are consistently collaborative and supportive. The ability to forge strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders will be key to your success. Your skills range from cycle planning and coordination, through to resource planning and budget management. Innovative and open-minded, you will continue to demonstrate compassion, commitment and resolve to maintain law and order.
